About Lynn

Lynn Smith combines a number of therapies including Homotoxicology, Nutrition, Iridology and Electro-dermal Screening in her Practice at the Hale Clinic.   She says this mix, together with laboratory testing when required, gives her the opportunity to be flexible in both the investigation and treatment of the myriad different conditions presented at her private practice.

She specialises in the treatment of problems with hormone imbalance at their roots ranging from the more traditionally regarded problems of male and female hormone imbalance, including infertility, to the support of stress and thyroid related disorders.  As such she has completed additional training with agencies such as Foresight preconception, and is an Associate Practitioner for the hormone testing laboratory Bio-Vitality, ensuring her knowledge is constantly at the front of this rapidly developing science.

She says 'Homotoxicology is the perfect therapy for working with hormone problems as it is thought the low concentrations of the constituents of the remedies can have a nano-pharmacological affect ie working as signalling molecules at frequencies the body recognises and thus helping to restore balance naturally.'

Lynn is a Member of The Complementary Medical Association and of the Institute for Complementary Medicine plus also the more specialist Society of Homotoxicology and Bio-Regulatory Medicine GB.

She is registered on the British Register of Complementary Therapists as both a Practitioner and Lecturer in Homotoxicology and is a Lecturer for the Academy for Homotoxicology and Bio-Regulatory Medicine.  She runs workshops and training sessions on the links between nutrition, health and various areas including Homotoxicology itself, food and mood, hormones, stress and children’s health.

Committed to the development of resources for students in Homotoxicology she set up a forum in 2005 to facilitate student self-learning and the exchange of knowledge and experience between students and practitioners.  Never happy that she has reached the end of her own pursuit to incorporate the latest scientific knowledge with her therapeutic approach she has spent the last 6 years undertaking a degree in Nutritional Medicine with Thames Valley University - now in its final year.
