What to expect at an appt

Whatever type of appointment you have you will be asked to fill in a health questionnaire before you come along.  This is easiest done at home in the peace and quiet as it is amazing how many illnesses or problems you will remember you have had once you get going.
Arrive in good time for your appointment so that you don’t feel rushed.
During your appointment you will get a chance to talk through the things causing issues and Lynn may run a few simple tests.

WHAT TESTS MIGHT YOU HAVE?

Sensitivity Testing

Lynn may want to do some simple tests to give her an idea of sensitivities you may have to foods, chemicals or other environmental substances.  She can also use the same testing technique to check your nutrition status and to get an insight into how your main organs and systems are working.  There are no pins or needles just some light pressure on different points - for example on your hands or feet.

Iridology

Lynn may want to use a small magnifying glass with a light on it to look at the Iris of your eye (the coloured part).

Laboratory tests

Lynn may recommend that some basic laboratory tests are carried out but these will always be discussed fully with you before they are arranged. (Charged for separately)  Alternatively she may suggest that you return to your GP to arrange some basic tests such as a cholesterol test.

Your Prescription

At the end of the appointment you will be given a basic prescription to start your therapy and this may be followed in a couple of days with a more detailed prescription and/or diet sheet.

The prescription will contain a combination of remedies and nutritional supplements.  A key part of the prescription will be advice on diet and lifestyle.

You may be referred for additional laboratory tests (paid for separately) but this will always be after discussion, and in agreement, with you.

Follow-up appointments

Depending on the health problems you are experiencing your follow-up appointment may be anything between 2 and 6 weeks later.  Follow-ups generally settle down to around every 6 weeks until you feel you can manage on your own.

Annual MOT

People are happy enough to have an annual MOT for their car, or have a 6 monthly check-up for their teeth, but unfortunately do not often take the time to have an annual holistic health check.  This can be tailored to suit you and can include anything from a check on the relevance of supplements being taken to full laboratory profile of heart disease, stroke and diabetes risk assessment, anti-age profile assessment, menopause profile, osteoporosis or breast cancer risk monitoring, etc.
